I graduated in 2004 from the University of San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Diversified Liberal Arts with a Human Development concentration. I also received a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential simultaneously. After completing my student teaching at Palmquist Elementary school in Oceanside, California, I remained at Palmquist as a long-term substitute in Kindergarten. I spent the subsequent two years as both an English Language Development support teacher and as a literacy intervention teacher in grades K-4. I was fortunate enough to spend my most recent years as a fulltime kindergarten teacher at both Palmquist and Foussat Elementary School.
I love the beach and I live in Carlsbad with my husband, Blaine. This summer I completed my ninth year as El Camino Country Club's head swim instructor and third year as their Aquatics Director. I am thrilled to be back at Palmquist this year and equally thrilled to get another year in kindergarten! Let’s have a fantastic year!
